Matthew Galasso is a doctoral student with the School of Criminal Justice.  His research interests include institutional corrections, issues of gender in corrections, the intersection of law and the criminal justice system, and criminal sentencing.  During his academic career, Matthew has interned with the Indiana Department of Correction and Marion County (IN) Community Corrections.  Additionally, Matthew has conducted research and assisted with the preparation of scholarly work related to nonprofit organizations and earned revenue.

Matthew completed a BMA in music and Spanish from DePauw University in 2006, earned a JD from the Indiana University McKinney School of Law in 2009, and most recently earned an MPA in criminal justice from the IU School of Public and Environmental Affairs-Indianapolis in May of 2016.
